“What would be your perfect ending?”
Not the above. Just in case you were curious. (Also, I have not finished the DLC yet, so I have no idea what has and has not changed.)
My perfect ending would have certain criteria. Commander Shepard surviving would not necessarily be one, since I’ve pretty much been preparing for Shepard to die since I found out it would be an epic trilogy. One of my most important criteria would be that the shown must be able to go on. That’s the big thing I found lacking in the current ending(s).
Also, Tali must be able to go back to Rannoch and live happily ever after, otherwise I will cry like a baby whose Normandy toy was taken away. I’m not asking for much. Just a happy ending for someone.

- EDI: Shepard, I had a question about human behavior.
- Shepard: Why is it you never have questions about asari behavior or turian behavior?
- EDI: I tried asking Liara about the asari bonding process. She said I do not guard the secrets of the Normandy's crew carefully enough for her to entrust me with such private information. The asari word she used translates as "blabbermouth." I think she has become a more private person since becoming the Shadow Broker.
